The Steidelijk Museum has a very interesting collection of Modern Art and it’s beautifully displayed, but the three museums in Museumplein, this is the weakest. The Van Gogh is the greatest, a world class museum in the same manner as the Chicago Institute of Art, the D’Orsay, The National Portrait Gallery (London) and the Getty Center (LA). Still, for the Mondriaans and de Koonings, it’s worth a visit.
