At the entrance to Zion National Park, Springdale is full of artists and other deadhead type shops, coffee bars and eclectic galleries. A true gem in southern Utah with the backdrop of Zion’s multicolored cliffs and canyons.

Springdale is an amazing town at the entrance to Zion National Park. I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the “flyin zion” festival in 2001, outside of springdale on private acerage and it was absolutely awesome. A must see area with some of the most beautiful rock formations around. Beware the law enforcement is strict in this area. Many, many camping areas.
Springdale, and Zion itself, has become overrun with tourists from May through September. Property values and rents (if any are available) have skyrocketed. It is now a confirmed tourist town with people from all over the world. You may find a few hippies on the trails in the Park or in the backcountry, that’s about it. Springdale is pretty dead in the winter months.
